The Kiss Quotient Review

So I picked up an adult book for a change – a romance with some maths in it!

At first I thought the book was going to be only about sex, which is fine, but not what I was expecting. But after about halfway through it got more romantic and sweet and lovely.

The main character, Stella, is autistic and it was really cool to see a book about a woman with autism as it’s so different in women to men.

I liked how Stella was really successful in her career and Michael, the love interest, didn’t scold her for going to work every day, even at weekends, because she loved her job so it wasn’t like it was work for her.

I hated Phillip with a passion – he was such a jerk and I’m glad Stella didn’t end up with him (not that that was ever going to happen).

And Stella is an econometrician! Maths! Women in STEM! Representstion! In a romance? Loved it.

Overall, the first half of the book was weird, and the second half was wonderful. Definitely worth the read! It’s also an own voices book so definitely give it a go!
